Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon Sanctuary of Sarras expansion: Everything we know so far

The Sanctuary of Sarras expansion is now live on Steam, which is about to be released in just a few days. The dev has released patch notes 1.15 along with important details about the latest expansion, including what players can expect. As per the Steam news report, the DLC will cost players $14.99 or equivalent to players’ regional currency.

The new storyline is based on a hidden mystery that finally opens into the past. Players here follow Nimue and the deserters who challenged King Arthur. In this DLC, they can explore the sanctuary, engage in multiple side quests, and interact with many interesting characters, which altogether offer 10-15 hours of gameplay.

Here are some contents that players will witness once the DLC is available:

• 4 new epic bosses.
• 12 unique regular enemies.
• Over 20 hand-crafted dungeons & interiors.
• Over 100 equipment pieces, including armor (#FashionGrail), melee weapons, bows, rings, amulets, spells, and relics.

As per the dev, the expansion will also feature a progression system. Players can now activate sacred shrines to unlock special skill points and use them in three new skill trees. They can level up all at once and even switch between them whenever they want.

So, the real question is: How to join the expansion zone? Well, to access the Sanctuary of Sarras, players only need to unlock the Cuanacht, which is Act 2 of the game. As mentioned, the announcement comes along with patch 1.15, which fixes various bugs and issues. This includes some audio issues and a gameplay error where three items went missing previously.
