Launch the Battle.net client on your computer and proceed to log in using your unique ID and password.
Next, head towards the Game Library and locate the Overwatch 2 tile. Click on it.
Here, right under the 'Launch' button, you will find a prompt for 'Download pre-release content.'
Click on this tab to initiate the download process.

PlayStation

For PlayStation consoles, we recommend keeping the 'Auto-Download Feature' on to preload Overwatch 2 content. Here's how you can do it:

Go to the Settings tab.
From here, navigate to Saved Data and Game Settings.
Choose Automatic Updates.
Ensure that you have both 'Auto-Download in Rest Mode' and 'Auto-Install in Rest Mode' turned on.

This will allow you to automatically pre-download the entire patch.

Xbox

For Xbox, head to the Xbox Game Store, and click on the Overwatch 2 tile.
Here, ensure that you have 'Automatic Updates' turned on.
