PMGC 2025 Gauntlet Stage Day 1: Livestream, teams, schedule, and how to watch

Day 1 of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 Gauntlet Stage is set to be held on November 24. A total of 16 teams will clash against one another in six matches on the opening day. The Gauntlet Stage will run across three days. The first- to seventh-ranked teams from the overall points table will qualify for the Finals, and the eighth- to 16th-placed teams will move to the Group Stage.

The PMGC 2025 will be played offline in Thailand. A total of 40 teams have been selected for the tournament. 16 have been chosen for the Gauntlet Stage, while 23 have been directly selected for the Group Stage. Thailand’s Vampire Esports got a special spot in the Grand Finals as the host country team. The grand event features a prize pool of $3,000,000.

The opening match of the PMGC 2025 will be played on the Rondo map. The second, third, and fourth encounters are planned on the fan-favourite Erangel map, while the fifth and sixth matches will take place on the Miramar map. All six games of the first day will be streamed live on the YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch channels of PUBG Mobile Esports from 4:30 pm IST onwards.

Here is the schedule for Day 1:

  • Match 4 - Erangel - 7:00 pm IST

Orangutan from India will contest in the Gauntlet Stage. The Aaru-led squad will aim to make a strong start to the PMGC 2025, its first international PUBG Mobile tournament. The team has already demonstrated stellar performances in the BGMI events this year, even winning two tournaments: the BMSD and the iQOO Battlegrounds Series.

Many experienced squads, like Alpha7, Alpha Gaming, DRX, Regnum, and D'Xavier, will compete in the Gauntlet Stage of the PMGC 2025. These clubs have recently delivered phenomenal performances in their respective regional tournaments. Their main focus will be to secure a spot in the Grand Finals from the Gauntlet Stage.
