PMGC 2025 Gauntlet Day 1: Overall standings and highlights 

ThunderTalk Gaming from China was the top performer of Day 1 of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 Gauntlet Stage. The team won two Chicken Dinners and scored 77 points in six matches. Madbulls earned second position with 67 points, while R8 Esports was third with 57 points. Orangutan from India finished fourth with 43 points, including 23 eliminations.

Wolves, Virtus, and Alpha7 scored 41, 39, and 38 points, respectively. EArena, Regnum, and DRX collected 19 points. Geekay and Alpha Gaming had a poor start, as they were in the bottom two with 14 and 12 points, respectively.

The PMGC 2025 is being played in Thailand, with 16 teams fighting in the Gauntlet Stage for seven spots in the finale. The bottom nine teams will move to the Group Stage of the Global Championship 2025. The Gauntlet Stage features a total of 18 matches.

Match 1 - Rondo

Virtus made a great start to the PMGC contest and won a 21-point Chicken Dinner. ThunderTalk and R8 were also impressive, as they secured 15 and 13 points, respectively. Alpha7 and Orangutan earned nine points.

Match 2 - Erangel

R8 Esports had another good game, collecting a 20-point Chicken Dinner. Regnum and Geekay scored 10 points each. ThunderTalk and Orangutan accumulated eight and seven points, respectively.

Match 3 - Erangel

Alpha7 dominated the third encounter and registered a huge 27-point Chicken Dinner. Their star player, Obscure, grabbed eight eliminations. EArena and R8 garnered 10 points, while Orangutan, MadBulls, and DRX took eight points each.

Match 4 - Erangel

ThunderTalk showed its supremacy in the fourth game of the PMGC and claimed a massive 28-point Chicken Dinner. Madbulls accumulated 20 points, including 14 eliminations. Wolves grabbed eight points, while Orangutan scored only one point.

Match 5 - Miramar

Madbulls played amazingly and conquered a 22-point Chicken Dinner. Orangutan also delivered brilliant performances and achieved 14 points. D’Xavier secured 12 points.

Match 6 - Miramar

ThunderTalk won its second Chicken Dinner of the PMGC with 20 points. Wolves, too, had a great game, as the squad acquired 17 important points. KARA earned 12 points.
