M7 MLBB World Championship: All 22 teams, dates, venue, and prize pool

The M7 MLBB World Championship is scheduled to be played from January 3 to 25, 2026, featuring 22 teams selected from various regional tournaments. The event will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia. This edition of the event will feature an enormous prize pool of $1,000,000, with $320,000 allocated for the champions.

The MLBB World Championship will be played in three phases: Wildcard, Swiss Stage, and Knockout Stage. Eight teams from the regional events have qualified for the Wildcard Stage, scheduled to be held January 3 to 6 at the XO Hall in Jakarta. Two teams from the stage will advance to the Swiss phase.

A total of 14 teams from the various regional events have secured their spots directly in the Swiss Stage. In total, 16 clubs will fight in this stage from January 10 to 17. The top eight teams will progress to the Knockout Stage, which will be played from January 18 to 25. The first day of the Knockout will be held at the same venue. The remaining days will be hosted at the Tennis Indoor Stadium.

Team Liquid and Aurora Gaming finished first and second, respectively, in the MPL Philippines S16. The Philippines is considered the strongest region in the MLBB scene, as the country has five consecutive world championship titles.

ONIC emerged victorious in the MPL Indonesia S16 after their magnificent performances. Alter Ego was second in the event. Indonesia's Evos Legends was the winner of the first edition of the World Championship.

SRG.OG clinched the MPL Malaysia S16. CG Esports grabbed second place and entered the M7 Championship. These teams will aim to deliver their best in the upcoming event and win the prestigious MLBB title.
