India's Team Orangutan ranks 14th in PMGC 2025 Group Stage

The PMGC 2025 Group Stage matches for Group Green concluded a few hours ago. India's Team Orangutan finished in 14th rank after a string of mediocre performances on the three matchdays. Led by Aaru, Orangutan accumulated a total of 91 points (56 eliminations and 35 placement points) and grabbed a solitary chicken dinner on the second day (Miramar match).

After 26 and 20 points on Day 1 and Day 2, Team Orangutan played better on Day 3 and accrued 45 points. However, their inconsistency costed them a chance to directly qualify for the Grand Finals or the Last Chance Qualifiers as they faced an early exit from the prestigious tournament.

They team showed a lack of intent to take combat on the first two days and failed to win 4v4 fights in various situations. While AKOP was the star player in the Gauntlet stage, he couldn't reciprocate his performances in the Group Stage matches.
