The game will see a worldwide launch on December 4, 2025, at 12:00 AM ET in the United States, and at 12:00 AM local time for all other regions. The title will be available on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 platforms as an exclusive title.

Like with past first-party releases from Nintendo, the game arrives across different regions at staggered times. Here are the details:

• Pacific Time (PT): December 3, 2025, at 9 PM
• Mountain Time (MT): December 3, 2025, at 10 PM
• Central Time (CT): December 3, 2025, at 11 PM
• Eastern Time (ET): December 4, 2025, at 12 AM
• Greenwich Mean Time (GMT): December 4, 2025, at 12:00 AM
• Central European Time (CET): December 4, 2025, at 12:00 AM
• Japan Standard Time (JST): December 4, 2025, at 12:00 AM
• Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST): December 4, 2025, at 12:00 AM
• New Zealand Standard Time (NZST): December 4, 2025, at 12:00 AM

In the United States only, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond's release will follow Eastern Time. As such, players on the Western section will be able to get the game a few hours earlier on December 3, 2025, as well. For all other regions, the game has a local 12:00 AM release time.

However, the exact release time for any player will depend on which region their Nintendo account is set to, and which Nintendo eStore they had purchased the game on.
