League of Legends patch 25.24 preview: Sejuani buffs, Mel nerfs, and more

The League of Legends patch 25.24 preview is now out. The next live patch will be the last major update of the title this year, looking to adjust several champions. Also, the newly released Zaahen is receiving slight nerfs. All in all, the Riot developers are monitoring plenty of community feedback and planning to bring viable adjustments across all aspects.

Here are the buffs, nerfs, and adjustments mentioned in the LoL patch 25.24 preview:

Champion buffs

1) Braum

Base HP: 610 → 630
P post-stun bonus damage on attack: 20% (5.2 - 39.2) → 40% (10.4 - 78.4)

2) Nasus

Health: 631 → 650
Q Damage: 35-115 → 40-120

3) Sejuani

Q CD: 19-13 → 18-12
Q mana cost: 70-90 → 60-80
W mana cost: 65 → 60
R CD: 130/110/90 → 120/105/90
Q AP ratio: 60% → 75%
W1 AP ratio: 20% → 30%
E AP ratio: 60% → 70%

4) Swain

P Heal: 3-6% (based on level) → 6%

5) Viktor

Q shield: 40-115 + 18% → 40-140 + 25%

Champion nerfs

1) Dr. Mundo

Q max HP monster cap: 350-650 → 300-600

2) Kayn

Shadow Assassin passive damage amp: 25-45% → 20-40%

3) Kha'Zix

W base damage: 85-205 → 75-195

4) Master Yi

Base HP: 655 → 640
AD growth: 2.8 → 2.5

5) Mel

E hit damage: 60-240 + 60% → 60-220 + 60%
E mana cost: 50-70 → 50-90
E DOT DPS: 16-80 + 8% → 16-56 + 8%
E DOT linger duration: 0.75s → 0.5s

6) Zaahen

Not included.

7) Zed

P monster mod: 2x → 1.8x

System buffs

1) Legends: Bloodline

Life steal per stack: 0.4% → 0.45%
Maximum life steal: 6% → 6.75%

Following the release of Zaahen in League of Legends, he has gone through a micropatch nerf and, as a result, is currently in a relatively stable spot. However, the developers stated that his prowess in higher ranks is a bit stronger than intended. So, Zaahen is expected to be nerfed in LoL patch 25.24.

Regarding Mel's changes in this patch, the lingering of her E zone and the particle will be adjusted. Also, her E max is being nerfed in power level and becoming costlier to cast.

The official League of Legends patch 25.24 will hit the live server on December 3, 2025.
