Venti is one of the characters who received the Hexerei buffs in Genshin Impact Luna III. The new effects in his kit are amazing, and he is now significantly stronger than before.
After Venti gains the Hexerei character status, his Normal Attack gains the following effects when you use his Elemental Burst:
- Venti's Normal Attacks will be converted into enemy-piercing Windsunder Arrows that deal even more Anemo DMG to opponents along the path.
- When Venti's Normal Attacks hit opponents, Stormeye's duration is increased by 1s, and its CD is increased by 0.5s. This effect can be triggered once every 0.1s and up to 2 times after each use of the Elemental Burst Wind's Grand Ode.
Additionally, Venti unlocks a new passive skill:
- Temporal Wind's Eulogy: While the Stormeye created by the Elemental Burst Wind's Grand Ode is active, for 4s after a nearby active character triggers a Swirl reaction, that character's DMG is increased by 50%, and Venti's Stormeye deals 135% of its original DMG.
When Venti casts his Elemental Burst, his Normal Attacks are infused with Anemo, allowing him to function as an on-field Anemo DPS unit. Additionally, when his Normal Attacks hit an opponent, his Burst duration increases, resulting in more Burst DMG and crowd control. Meanwhile, Venti's new Hexerei passive further increases his Burst DMG and also buffs an active unit's DMG after they trigger Swirl.
With the new Hexerei buffs, while Venti is still not the best Anemo DPS, he is now comparable to others like Xiao and Wanderer. Even more so with his new signature weapon.
Therefore, it is safe to say that Venti is definitely worth pulling after the Hexerei buffs, especially for new players. Furthermore, if you don't have Kazuha, the Anemo Archon is an excellent choice as a support and a sub-DPS unit.
