Hytale is perhaps one of the most popular names in the RPG community, with millions of fans worldwide. Days after the founder team recently reacquired the title from Riot Games, the team has shared a brand-new gameplay trailer showing off the gameplay mechanics and world-building in the title.

Hytale has been in the news after founder Simon Collins-Laflamme took to social media and announced that Hytale has been reacquired from Riot Games, bringing the development of the much-awaited title back on track.

In their official update on the website, Simon stated that they reached an agreement with Riot Games regarding Hytale since it did not make sense for them to develop the title in its current state. Following that announcement, they have just released a new gameplay trailer just one day after the reacquisition, showcasing the immersive world of the title.

The 17-minute clip featured a mashup of different gameplay aspects, showcasing combat mechanics as well as world-building. Apart from the immersive graphics, the gameplay trailer revealed weapons such as the shortbow, axe, dual daggers, and shields. The Hytale gameplay teaser also displays intense gameplay mechanics while fighting off hordes of unique hostile mobs.

The title draws inspiration from the iconic block-shaped world of Minecraft and blends an array of features that bolster its title as a much-awaited RPG title. With over a decade's worth of development, the game has amassed a large fan-following, both from the Minecraft and the RPG community.

The comment section of the gameplay footage was filled with positive comments that applauded Simon's transparency and the way he kept his word about showcasing development progress.
