As mentioned, HoYoverse has recently released a new trailer for one of their upcoming flagship titles, Varsapura. They have shared a 31-minute gameplay demo for this new title, showcasing its combat, setting, graphics, and visuals, among its other features.
The MC in this game is Hollowone, and in the gameplay demo, she is applying for a job at the SEAL special bureau. This bureau is responsible for dealing with mysterious monsters and other threats. The game is set in a world plagued by a phenomenon known as Mindrot, which spawns powerful monsters, deteriorates everything, and distorts the minds of others.
The SEAL bureau is also responsible for combating the Mindrot phenomenon, and some of its officers neutralize the threats posed by the monsters it creates. The bureau has a Mindrot division that deals with the threats posed by this phenomenon. We are also introduced to a Shadow Patrol Officer, Sayuki, in the gameplay demo.
During the trailer, we also learn that the MC has ulterior motives for joining SEAL; she wants to hunt down an agent from this bureau who killed her former self. Overall, Varsapura seems to be a mystery-action thriller game featuring a massive open-world map. The game also appears to have investigative-like elements.
Another interesting feature about the title is that it seems to have branching dialogues, similar to some RPGs. Furthermore, HoYoverse is leaning toward a realistic visual style for their new title. The graphics and visuals look great, and the character models look good as well.
Combat features

Some combat features in this game are similar to those of HoYoverse's own title, Genshin Impact. Each character in Varsapura seems to have three abilities: Normal/Heavy/Plunging attack, an E, and a Q skill. The Q ability has a cooldown after using it.
The title also has a stealth feature, which can be activated before entering combat. The gameplay demo also showcases a stealth mission. Depending on the missions, it seems that you can silently assassinate all monsters or use your normal abilities to defeat them. Furthermore, the MC's E ability appears to change, depending on combat state, and she gains a hypnotize ability during the stealth state.
Varsapura also features destructible environments, and you can use some of these environments during combat to deal more damage to enemies. The gameplay demo also revealed that you can have up to three different characters in a party. The game also has a gliding mechanic and a stamina system. Each playable character appears to use a unique umbrella to glide.
Each playable character uses a different weapon during combat: the MC uses an umbrella, Sayuki uses some files, and lastly, the third playable character, Dokki, uses a customized flail. The gameplay demo has only showcased these three characters.
Furthermore, the title also has special intro and outro attacks while switching characters. Some missions also have observation points that you can use to locate nearby enemies.

Open-world map and exploration

Varsapura appears to have a massive open-world map, as shown in a brief interview sequence in the gameplay demo. Players can explore the vast map in the game using a SEAL bureau's car. While travelling in the car, you can listen to the SEAL dispatch center that shares details on any nearby threats.
The locations on the open-world map look stunning, and some players speculate that the game's map is based on Singapore's real map and locations. HoYoverse has not revealed details about the game's release date or the closed beta test. We will have to wait for further announcements by the developers to learn more about their upcoming title.
