Like almost everything, you need to complete a quest chain featuring multiple missions to unlock The Labyrinth in Escape from Tarkov. They were added alongside this hidden area and can be completed even after the title’s official release.

The Labyrinth entrance location

As mentioned, The Labyrinth is a hidden map and cannot be accessed directly from the main menu. The entrance to this explorable area is located in the basement of the Health Resort’s west wing on Shoreline. Normally, it is concealed behind a locked door that you need to open.

Once you go down the square staircase to the basement, go right towards the empty swimming pool. There, you’ll see three doors on the left side. You need to unlock the rightmost one.

Steps to unlock The Labyrinth in Escape from Tarkov

To unlock The Labyrinth in Escape from Tarkov, you must start a specific quest chain. The first one is named Shady Contractor. You’ll get the task after accepting “Saving the Mole” and reaching level 15. Here is a list of quests you must complete before you can access The Labyrinth:

• Shady Contractor
• Needle in a Haystack
• Hidden Layer
• Forced Alliance
• The Tarkov Butcher

Once you have completed the abovementioned missions in Escape from Tarkov, you will be able to barter for the “Labrys access card.” The item will allow you to transit to The Labyrinth. You will get some as a quest reward, so you don’t have to barter for the item immediately.
