Sword Horizon in Where Winds Meet is an Inner Way or Internal Arts technique that pairs directly with the Strategic Sword. When used together, they create powerful follow-up attacks and boost Bleed damage, turning the build into a devastating pressure style.
Unlocking Sword Horizon takes a bit of hunting, though, since its pages come from a specific NPC and rely on RNG. Here’s how to obtain it in Where Winds Meet.
How to get Sword Horizon in Where Winds Meet
To unlock Sword Horizon in Where Winds Meet, you’ll need to collect all the pages tied to the Inner Way. These pages come from a single source: the Unknown Old Books sold by Ni Laoshan.

Here are the steps to collect them:
1) Locate Ni Laoshan
Fast travel to the market and walk straight ahead. You’ll pass two sets of stairs; keep going until you cross the second one. Look to your left, and you’ll spot the store. Ni Laoshan is easy to notice since he’s hanging upside down from the roof.
2) Buy multiple Unknown Old Books
Ni Laoshan sells Unknown Old Books, and Sword Horizon pages are hidden inside them. The catch is that the pages are RNG-based, meaning you won’t get the pages in a fixed order or even guarantee one with each purchase.
For this reason, you’ll want to buy multiple copies until you collect a full set of Sword Horizon pages. Now open the inventory and consume all of it for Sword Horizon Inner Way.
How Sword Horizon in Where Winds Meet works

Sword Horizon is built around timing and synergy with the Strategic Sword. After performing any of the Strategic Sword techniques (Martial Arts Skill, Special Skill, or Charged Skill), you’ll have a brief window where you can trigger a follow-up.
To trigger the follow-up, you must perform a Strategic Sword move. During the ending animation, press the skill button again at the perfect timing. Your character will unleash Crisscrossing Swords, a fast and explosive follow-up attack.
The key is hitting the input during the final frames of the Martial Art, not earlier or too late. When mastered, this gives the Strategic Sword weapon a much faster tempo than its usual methodical pacing.
