How to get Inkwell Fan in Where Winds Meet

The Inkwell Fan in Where Winds Meet is hidden inside the Inkwell Fan Sanctum, located in the upper region of Qinghe. Your goal here is to infiltrate the sanctum, find the Master, and successfully perform a Skill Theft on him.

The process, however, involves steps, chests, and guards along the way.

Prerequisites to get Inkwell Fan in Where Winds Meet

• You’ll need the Touch of Death Mystic Art to silently eliminate certain guards. This is unlocked through The Realm Endures side story.
• Make sure you have a Dragon Key, because entering the hidden passage consumes one.
• Grab the map from the fire icon in Qinghe so navigating the region becomes easier.

Once you’re ready, follow the route below.

1) Travel to the Inkwell Fan Sanctum

Head to the northern part of Qinghe. Now, interact with the Loong Herm Dragon Pillar at the entrance. This consumes your Dragon Key and opens the hidden passage into the Sanctum.

2) Enter the canyon and start clearing guards

Move forward until you spot groups of Militiamen.

• Hug the left wall to slip past the first two guards.
• The third Militiaman waits behind a tall rock on your right so take him out first.
• Then climb the right wall to reach the elevated platform and quietly eliminate the two Militiamen near the first chest.

3) Collect the next two chests

Continue across the nearby bridge until you see a climbable rock formation on the right.

• Climb it and head down to the second chest.
• Turn left, climb up, and you’ll reach the third chest.

4) Return to the Save Point for chest four

Head back to the first Save Point and drop into the nearby hole. This leads directly to the fourth chest.

5) Climb back up and clear two more guards

After taking the chest, climb the ladder on the right.

• Cross the bridge, assassinate the Militiaman near the ledge, and you’ll find the fifth chest next to the mound.
• The path back up is guarded by two more Militiamen.
• Take down the left one first.
• Then eliminate the second when he looks away.

6) Reach the final chest

Follow the left-hand path into a room guarded by two more enemies. Get past them, and the last chest will be on your left.

7) Confront the Master

Push forward into the final chamber. The Master waits here. To unlock the Inkwell Fan Martial Art, you must approach him carefully. Now complete a successful Skill Theft. Once done, the Inkwell Fan in Where Winds Meet is officially yours.
