Honami City in Wuthering Waves is the latest area expansion added to the game with the 2.8 update. But unlike some of the map additions so far, you won't be able to find it that easily. Honami City in Wuthering Waves is the latest area that you can unlock by progressing the new main quest, Chapter II Act XII: Stagnant Dawn on Wastelands. To start the mission, head to the Black Shores and talk with Valentina.

You will next be taken to the Shorekeeper, who will inform you of the anomaly that she encountered in the Gem that you retrieved from your battle with Leviathan. From here, you will be tasked with talking with Buling, which will transition into a cutscene, giving you the first glimpse of Honami City.
From here, interact with the two Black Shores researchers to learn what is happening before going in and talking with Ria. Another cutscene will ensue, after which the Rover will be pulled inside the Sonoro Sphere. You will arrive at Honami City, but it won't be unlocked yet.
Keep talking with the civilian frequency and follow the main path. You will soon encounter some enemies who will be quite easy to dispatch. Once you defeat them, follow Chisa in Wuthering Waves till you arrive at Shashou Cafe. Talk with Namipon, the creature that resembles a Capybara, and once the conversation concludes, you will unlock a part of Honami City to explore.
More parts of the city will unlock as you continue the two main quests available in the ongoing 2.8 update of Wuthering Waves. The latest event, Stranger Things in Honami, will also take you around the city to complete several challenges.
