Bond Stars in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road are a special type of currency tied to the game’s online play and Chronicle Mode. They’re mainly used to recruit characters from constellations in the Player Universe, but what confuses many players is that they can’t be earned through the Chronicle Competition Route itself.
Instead, you’ll have to go online to build your stock of Bond Stars. That said, here is how to get and use Bond Stars in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road.
How to get Bond Stars in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road
You can earn Bond Stars through Competition Mode, which is available right from the main menu. However, not every sub-mode gives them, as you’ll need to focus specifically on online play.

Here’s how it works:
- Enter Competition Mode from the main menu.
- Choose Ranked Matches or Lobby Matches, as both award Bond Stars at the end of each match.
- The result doesn’t matter. You’ll get Bond Stars whether you win or lose.
So, if you’re farming this currency, make sure your console is connected online before jumping into Competition Mode. The earning rate isn’t overly slow, making it possible to gather a few Bond Stars within just a handful of online games.

How to use Bond Stars in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road
Once you’ve built up a few Bond Stars, it’s time to spend them in Chronicle Mode to recruit new players. Here’s how to do it:
- From the main menu, open Chronicle Mode.
- Select Player Universe (located between Chronicle Competition Route and Team Dock).
- Inside, you’ll see multiple constellations, each representing a cluster of recruitable players.
- You can also use search filters to narrow down players by Team Dock or by Player Name.
- Spend your Bond Stars to recruit the character and add them to your lineup.
Inside Player Universe, you’ll see a spread of constellations, each linked to different characters you can recruit. These constellations are laid out like interconnected star maps, with various heroes appearing under different categories such as Common, Rare, and Hero.
For instance, Heigoro Kabeyama can be found under the Hero constellation.
