How to get Light Bulbs in Arc Raiders

Light Bulbs in Arc Raiders are a resource that can be found while scavenging the Topside. It is a surprisingly hard-to-find item, even when it does not belong to the Epic loot tier. As its name suggests, the Light Bulb is categorized under the Electrical class of items.

However, you may not always find this item on map POIs that are marked with the Electrical category. Fortunately, there seem to be a few methods to get Light Bulbs in Arc Raiders.

This article will highlight the best way to find Light Bulbs in Arc Raiders.

How to find Light Bulbs in Arc Raiders

As of writing this article, there are two locations on the Dam Battlegrounds map where you can potentially find Light Bulbs in Arc Raiders. The randomized spawning nature of ground loot could affect the Light Bulbs as well, so these spots should not be considered as guaranteed locations. But, these locations are worth looking into if you need some Light Bulbs in Arc Raiders:

Power Generation Complex

Located on the Northern side of the map, Power Generation Complex is a named POI on the Dam Battlegrounds map. After you reach this location, you must navigate to the extraction point near this area. Right next to the extraction point, you will spot a few broken-down buses and a car near a concrete barricade.

Head over to the car and then interact with the hood to breach it. Search through the items inside this car, and there is a high chance you will find one or two Light Bulbs. At this point, you can choose to simply escape and return to Speranza to preserve your loot.

Electrical Substation

The Electrical Substation POI is located on the Southern side of the Dam Battlegrounds map. To the West side of the building, near the main road, you will be able to spot another worn-out white car. Go near it and interact with the hood to breach and search the inside. This spot can also potentially help you obtain a few Light Bulbs in Arc Raiders.

Note that these locations do not guarantee Light Bulbs.

For both locations, it is best to check the surroundings for ARC enemies and other Raiders. Since both spots are close to extraction points, you may need to fight some high-threat level ARCs like Rocketeers and high-agility enemies like Leapers. If you have already obtained the loot you were looking for, it is best to avoid a gunfight to increase chances of survival.

Since Light Bulbs are categorized under Electrical, there is also a chance to find them in POIs with the Electrical tag. Make sure to look through all containers and lockers to increase your chances of finding the item.
