The Ministry of Defense has found you guilty of not having access to the best, and with immediate effect has revealed the Helldivers 2 Python Commandos Warbond. Much like the Viper Commandos Warbond before it, this one will focus on the Terminids and jungle warfare.

The Helldivers 2 Python Commandos Warbond introduces some much-needed firepower as well as some fiery methods to spread Managed Democracy. Without further ado, here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Warbond and everything it contains.

You can purchase the Helldivers 2 Python Commandos Warbond from the Warbond section located within the Acquisition Center for 1,000 Super Credits. The proceeds of the purchase will go towards funding the fighting against Dissidents and, of course, further expansion in The Gloom (eventually, that is).

If you're short on Super Credits, consider doing your Democratic duty and purchasing some for your benefit and that of Super Earth. However, if you want to be truly Democratic, the best way to get Super Credits is to earn them through the fires of combat (albeit on low-level missions). Keep an eye out for Bunkers and Pods while exploring.

If you're eager to get your hands on the Python Commandos Warbond, you will not have to wait long, as it goes live on June 12, 2025. This should give you enough time to collect the Super Credits you need to purchase it.

Stratagems and Weapons

Over the many months of combat, the Ministry of Defense has received an overwhelming number of requests for a minigun. While rather impractical in most situations, nothing says Democracy like shooting 1,000 rounds in the enemy's general direction. To that effect, Helldivers will now be able to access the belt-fed, ultra-high ammo capacity M-1000 Maxigun.

Speaking of volatile weapons, nothing warms the heart quite like fire. Over the course of the last few weeks, there has been an increase in the use of Napalm against the Terminids. However, it would appear that more fire is needed, and to that effect, the AX/FLAM-75 “Guard Dog” Hot Dog has been introduced to the fray. Helldivers with flame-resistant armor are going to love this new gadget.

And if 1,000 bullets and fire are not your style, you can always get up close and personal with the CQC-9 Defoliation Tool. It's good for carving a path through dense jungles and Terminid exoskeletons alike. Just be careful when running around with it, as you may end up giving your fellow Helldiver more than just a slight papercut.

Lastly, the Helldivers 2 Python Commandos Warbond introduces a new and unique primary weapon, called the AR/GL-21 One-Two. It is a combination of an assault rifle and a grenade launcher, which makes it perfect for clearing out Bug Holes and taking down armored targets, or at least slowing them.

Armors and Capes

The Helldivers 2 Python Commandos Warbond also contains two Armor Sets: the RS-20 Constrictor (light armor) and the RS-40 Beast of Prey (heavy armor). Depending on your playstyle, one may be more favourable than the other, but both of them come with Rock Solid (passive), which will enable Helldivers to withstand staggering and ragdolling attacks (just don't stand in front of a Charger).

The Helldivers 2 Python Commandos Warbond also comes with two Capes and Player Banners: Foe Rent Asunder and Mark Of The Constricter. Remember to wear them with pride when purging Terminids and other Autocratic forces.

The Front-Leaning Rest Position (emote) is also included with the Helldivers 2 Python Commandos Warbond, alongside Chameleon Camo (pattern) for your vehicles. To end things on a high note, you will also get access to the Python Commando (player title).
