Where to find the Sleeping Daoist in Where Winds Meet

The Sleeping Daoist can be found in the southern part of the Sundara Land region of Qinghe in Where Winds Meet. You can find him near the Path of Karma teleport waypoint as indicated in the image below. Just go up the hill from the teleport, and you will come across an opening full of flowers and a giant tree.

This is where you can find the Sleeping Daoist in Where Winds Meet. A short cutscene will play, after which the battle against the old man will start. Make sure to prepare beforehand, as you won't be able to change your gear during the fight.

Tips and tricks to beat the Sleeping Daoist in Where Winds Meet

Phase 1

• The Sleeping Daoist will begin his attack by jumping on you with his donkey. You can either dodge or parry this attack.
• Make sure to deflect the projectiles. Parrying them will slowly drain the Daoist's Qi bar. This method is the most effective way to immobilize him.
• The Daoist will fire a few projectiles and then perform an attack that you cannot block/ parry. A golden glow will indicate this attack, so prepare to dodge.
• Stay near the Daoist. His melee attacks won't hit you that way.

Phase 2

• The second phase will more or less have the same moves. You will need to counter the projectiles to deplete his Qi and then perform a finisher on him.
• When you drain around 50 percent of his HP, he will summon two illusions, and you will have to find which is the real one. Strike the one that is glowing. Failing to find the actual Daoist will result in you becoming a donkey.
• The Daoist will summon a horde of donkeys and try to run you over. Remain underneath him to avoid the stampede.
