How to defeat Shredder in ARC Raiders

The Shredder in ARC Raiders is one of the newest enemies introduced alongside the Stella Montis map. While its size is not something to be concerned about, his adversary can easily make you burn through a substantial number of Shield Rechargers and Bandages. Hence, it's better to carefully approach the Shredder to make sure it won’t knock you down as you are looting.

While it may seem like Shredder in ARC Raiders is a ground-type enemy, it's not. The machine hovers on the ground by using its small thrusters and spawns in the facilities of Stella Montis. Defeating the Shredder might be a little challenging for some, as its outer layer is fully covered with heavy armor.

You can follow the steps below to defeat the Shredder in ARC Raiders:

First off, make sure to bring a Heavy weapon, as Light and Medium ones won't be able to penetrate its armor easily. When the ARC’s attention is on you, it will hover close to you and launch its shrapnel attack. Take cover as it can easily destroy your shield.
While the Shredder is charging up to attack, it will expose its thrusters. Destroy them, as it will make this mechanical menace lose control and won’t be able to hit you consistently. When that happens, shoot it as many times as you have to until it explodes.

If you don’t want to face the troubles of shooting down a Shredder, it's best to bring some explosive throwables to make the job easier. Wolfpack works the best, but any grenades that can deal damage will work. However, depending on the destruction power, the amount you need to carry varies.

You can easily defeat a Shredder by yourself in Stella Montis, but to make things easier, bringing teammates will be the best option.
