How to complete The Great Hollow event in Elden Ring Nightreign

The Great Hollow is a new Shifting Earth event in Elden Ring Nightreign introduced in The Forsaken Hollows DLC. The area contains some amazing weapons and is also great for farming runes. However, it is afflicted with a curse that slashes your HP by 50% which you can only cure in a certain way.

How to break The Great Hollow curse in Elden Ring Nightreign

The Great Hollow in Elden Ring Nightreign is a new Shifting Earth that you can explore in solo or multiplayer mode to look for powerful weapons, farm runes, and more. However, as soon as you enter the region after unlocking it, you and your party members get afflicted with a crystal curse that reduces your health bar by half. This can be quite cumbersome as it seriously diminishes your survivability.

However, there is a way to get rid of the crystal curse within the game. Here are the steps to do so:

The first task is to search and destroy four blue crystals in The Great Hollow area. There are a total of eight such crystals spread across the region, and breaking any four will do. All you must do is get into the proximity of a crystal and select the "Resonate" prompt to break it.

Naturally, you may be wondering where to find the blue crystals within the huge castle. On the first day of the challenge, your best bet is to explore the region and destroy any crystals that come your way.

After the second day begins, the game will mark the locations of the crystals on the map as it does with powerful monsters.

Once you have destroyed the fourth blue curse crystal, a cutscene will ensue where a crack will form on the surface of the huge blue crystal near the center of the map.

Head over to where the huge purple crystal is shattered. It will be marked with a red flag. Then simply interact with the crystal to "Gain the power of the great crystal." Doing so will remove the debuff affecting you, allowing you to engage with the remaining content at full health.
