Arc Raiders Root of the Matter quest guide

As mentioned above, you will get the Root of the Matter quest in Arc Raiders from Trader Celeste. The mission is comparatively straightforward, but you are tasked with finding a specific room without any proper directions.

Here are the objectives for the Root of the Matter quest in Arc Raiders:

Go to the Research Building
Search for the seed vault in the “room with a great view”

Launch up a new raid and head to the Buried City map. You will need to go to the Eastern side of the map and make your way to the building near the Space Travel building in the Buried Properties POI. The building directly to the left of the Space Travel building is the Research Building. Finding this location is quite easy, and you simply need to keep an eye out for enemies in the vicinity.

It is best to check for ARC enemies outside the building before crossing over and entering. If necessary, you can wait a while to check their patrol routes and even take them down to secure your entry. However, it is best to avoid detection and any unnecessary gunfights.

Search for the seed vault in the “room with a great view”

Enter the building from the South and use the window near the sand to make an entry. Follow the straight route and travel to the main hallway. You can then check the room on your left to spot a room with a large window opening, overlooking a distant building with trees covering the lower ground. You may encounter some smaller ARCs inside the building.

Near the wall of this room, you can find a large yellow container. Go close to this container and interact with it to secure the seeds. Now you simply need to get out of the map and safely reach Speranza with the seeds. At this point, you can choose to put the seeds in your safe pocket to protect them even if you cannot make it back.

Once you reach Speranza, you can interact with Trader Celeste and hand over the seeds to complete the Root of the Matter quest in Arc Raiders.
