How to complete Broken Monument quest in Arc Raiders

The Broken Monument quest in Arc Raiders is given by Tian Wen, who asks you to find and deliver three items. All these objects are located on the outskirts of the Dam Battlegrounds map. At first, this seems like a straightforward mission, but once you reach the location, you may find it quite challenging. The area is filled with ruined vehicles and metal parts, making it hard to spot what you're looking for.

The Broken Monument quest in Arc Raiders is described as follows in-game:

“I have another special site I need you to search for me. An old battlegrounds, from the First Wave. Raiders nowadays usually pick places like that clean, despite the significance they once held. People forget quickly. Quicker than they should.”

Here are the objectives:

In One Round

Reach the hallowed grounds by the Scrap Yard.
Search for a compass near the broken-down vehicles.
Search for the videotape near the cylindrical containers.
Search for the old field rations in the Raider camp.
Deliver the First Wave Tape to Tian Wen.
Deliver First Wave Compass to Tian Wen.
Deliver First Wave Rations to Tian Wen.

Scrap Yard location

The Scrap Yard is located on the southern side of the Dam Battlegrounds map, close to Wreckage and Formicai Output.

Compass location

You can find the Compass in the southern part of the Scrap Yard, inside a metal box. The box is placed in the middle of a few wrecked vehicles.

When you reach the area, you’ll notice two paths: left and right. In the middle, you’ll find the ruined cars. Jump over the vehicles to see a metal box highlighted in yellow. Search it to find and collect the compass.

Video tape location

The videotape can also be found in the southern part of the Scrap Yard. This time, take the right path from the previous location.

When you move ahead, you’ll see two metal tube-like structures lying next to each other. Check the left side of one of these scraps (the first one) to find another metal box. Search it to find and collect the videotape.

Old field rations location

You can find the old field rations northeast of the previous location (where you found the videotape).

Head there, and you’ll notice an abandoned mobile trailer. Go inside to see a metal box placed next to some racks. Search it to find and collect the old field rations.

Deliver all items to Tian Wen

Once you’re done, it’s time to return to Speranza and deliver all the items to Tian Wen to conclude the quest. The nearest extraction point is the Water Treatment Elevator. However, be cautious while returning, as you may encounter some ARCs guarding the area.
