Clair Obscur Expedition 33: How to access Verso's Drafts

Right after the conclusion of the TGA 2025 event, the dev has rolled out a new update for players, introducing a new expansion for the title. This is a 'Thank You' update as the game deservedly won Game of the Year 2025 and received nine awards out of its 12 nominations. The update is now live, and you can access the expansion of Verso’s Drafts after fulfilling the following requirements:

• Reach Act 3
• Unlock Esquie's underwater ability (Relationship level 6 with Esquie)

That's it, once you meet the above criteria, you can access Verso's Drafts island and enjoy all the new content. As per the dev, this new explorable environment has a very childlike, wonderland-style aesthetic, inspired by Verso’s childhood. It's located south of the Lumiere, which you can spot by visiting the Continent and moving your map to the bottom-right.

What to expect from Verso's Drafts in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

The expansion comes along with various free and fresh content for players. These include new luminas and weapons, new bosses to fight inside the Endless Tower, a new Photo mode, additional costumes, and more. Here's what the DLC has to offer:

• New boss fights inside the Endless Tower
• Photo mode
• Additional costumes
• New luminas and weapons (13 new weapons to unlock)
• Lumina Sets (save up to 50 different lumina loadouts)
• New music by Lorien Testard

The expansion comes with new Pictos, costumes, and other gear, which you can unlock once you Parry your way up the tower and defeat the new bosses in the Endless Tower.

The addition of Photo mode is something that the community has been wanting for a long. In this mode, you can add 33 filters and effects, change the angles, field of view, color grading, and even change the location and colors of the lighting (with 10 fully customizable lights).

Along with the new content, the developers have also fixed several issues, including some gameplay bugs. That said, the game now supports 19 languages in total, thanks to the addition of Czech, Ukrainian, Mexican Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, and Indonesian, which made the game accessible to more players.
