Since it is a new addition to the title, most players may be unfamiliar with its gameplay and features.

The Currency Wars game mode in Honkai Star Rail is simple. Players must build a team of eight to 10 characters of dissimilar rarities to fight waves of enemies. Each stage consists of multiple phases, requiring you to fine-tune your group before entering the battlefield.

While building a team, each character can be placed in specific areas based on their compatibility. For example, Aventurine can only be positioned in the On-Field Area.

Additionally, every character has a Bond attribute that allows them to link with others who share similar traits. Once you reach a certain Bond Link level, their abilities receive a boost. To make the most of Bond Link abilities, stack characters of the same type.

After winning a fight, you will receive Gold Coins, which can be used to upgrade your level, expand your character roster, purchase or reroll units, and more. Since getting copies of the same character upgrades their rarity, you should always try to level up the strongest ones.

Once your team is enhanced, you can start the next battle to obtain more Gold Coins. The number of characters you can deploy depends on your current level, so make sure to upgrade it whenever you get the chance.

Repeat this process until you reach the Boss phase. Then, defeat the boss to complete the stage and claim all the rewards you’ve unlocked.
