The Helldivers 2 update (December 2, 2025) is nearly here, and with it, we can expect some fresh content alongside the new Python Commandos Warbond. Officially, the Ministries of Super Earth have not revealed what we can expect from this update, but leaks from @Iron_S1ghts indicate that we could see upgrades for our SuperDestroyers.We could also see content related to recent dissident uprisings that are causing havoc from within. SEAF forces are engaging them, but we may need more firepower to even the odds since all three enemy factions are also pushing closer to Super Earth. It contains the much-requested M-1000 Maxigun, which will allow Helldivers to mow down enemies from afar by allowing them to fire at maximum Democratic rate.There's also the AX/FLAM-75 “Guard Dog” Hot Dog, which features a flamethrower and the CQC-9 Defoliation Tool, which seems to take a lot of inspiration from the Chainswords of Warhammer 40,000. The AR/GL-21 One-Two is another great feature of this Warbond; an assault rifle with an attached grenade launcher will come in handy while clearing Bug Holes.With reference to the Warbond, since it mostly has weapons that are adept at dealing with Terminids, we can speculate that something related to them is being updated/added. The bugs are always evolving, and with the Gloom still being a threat, there's always an urgency to push them back. Lastly, since the Warbond showcases Terminids, it's a valid argument that Helldivers 2 update (December 2, 2025) will have something to do with them.In an unofficial capacity, it would appear that Super Earth could finally be ready to unveil Tier-6 Modules for Super Destroyers. There's no information about what kind of upgrades this would imply for Helldivers on the ground, but it should be worth the cost in Samples.We could also see additional Strategems added, but there's no information on what those could be. Maybe an Orbital Hellbomb could be introduced, or perhaps Orbital Gas Bombardment. Truth be told, there's so much that could be done.
