Genshin Impact has recently launched a new collaboration event with Duolingo, giving the community a fun 3-day Streak Challenge starting from December 8, 2025. It’s a simple collab event where you as a player can learn a new language of your choice while grabbing some in-game rewards, items, and a Namecard too.The official teaser and promotional art also brings in familiar faces from Sumeru like Tighnari and Cyno with Paimon for this event. If you’re a fellow Genshin Impact player or an interested Duolingo user who's planning to jump in for the rewards, here’s a guide with all the details you need to get started.Genshin Impact x Duolingo collaboration event detailsThe collaboration event between Genshin Impact x Duolingo is going to run from December 8 to December 27, 2025. According to the rules shared by HoYoverse, players must complete any one language's lesson a day on Duolingo for three days in a row, maintaining a streak. Breaking it will reset the progress and it cannot be started once again as it's a one time thing.After completeing the lesson, a Genshin Impact opt in screen will appear where you can join the quest. If it's not showing, you can always check it out under the Quest tab in Duolingo. Once you activate this quest, you can start your 3 day challenge and maintain the streak in order to get the exclusive rewards.You can claim these in the same moment when the challenge ends or by navigating through the Shop tab on Duolingo. A redemption code will be available to claim the rewards bundle in Genshin Impact.Rules for participationIntereseted participants should have a normal Duolingo account in order to take part in this event. As for players, you should atleast have a Genshin Impact account upto Adventure Rank 2 with an in-game character unlocked in order to claim the rewards in the mailbox. The redemption code for rewards stays open until December 30, 2025, while the actual code remains valid until January 31, 2026.Additionally, players are asked to make a note that the Streak Freeze option will be available in order to pause the challenge but Streak Repair on the other hand, won't be available for use. This means that players can pause their quest progress but cannot restore the streak once broken.Event rewardsThe reward bundle in the form of a redemption code is simple but worthwhile for most players.
