Since the update from November 21, 2025, healing troopers now drop a Medic Pack that provides healing to the players around them. Now, with the latest patch, the healing offered by these troopers has been effectively doubled, and alongside it, the developers have designed an equitable healing distribution system that will work based on the number of players that are currently in a lane.Read more: How to make custom lobbies in DeadlockThis change might actually bring back the concept of solo laning within the title, and players that are essentially carries can continuously feed themselves with souls, while the rest of the team invades enemy jungles, and make plays in the mid game. Furthermore, the changes that have been made for the Walkers improve the value of objectives in the game, providing players with work to do during the mid-late game stage. Each time a Walker in your team dies, the other two gain a significant boost to their health. This makes taking them down even more challenging, drawing out the mid-game, and forcing players to make smart plays instead of backdooring these objectives. Last but not least, the developers have noted the extensive surge in using Focus Lens after the recent patch and have incorporated changes to help improve the item's balance within the game.Check out: Deadlock lore explained: The story behind Valve's MOBA shooterFor more related news and guides, stay tuned to Sportskeeda's Esports and Gaming section.
