How to leave a sect in Where Winds Meet

If you wish to join another sect in Where Winds Meet, you must first quit your current sect and serve a penalty. Following that, you are free to join any other faction you want. Here are the steps to do so:

• Open the main menu from the top-right corner.
• Head over to Sects
• Select the Betray Master option from the bottom right corner.
• A dialog box will then ask you to affirm your choice. Tap on the Confirm button to do so.
• Complete a Severance Trial as a penalty for quitting. You should note that if you are leaving the Nine Mortal Ways sect, you must pay 50,000 coins to exit instead of facing a trial.

Afterwards, you will be free to join any other sect except for the one you just left. To join the same one again, you must wait through a 24-hour cooldown window. Moreover, if you do rejoin, you will be unable to leave again for the next six days.

Another important thing to note is that upon leaving a sect in Where Winds Meet, all of the progress you have made within it, including the rank and titles, is lost, and you must begin from the bottom again. Additionally, you also lose access to the exclusive sect shop. Therefore, you must make all your desired purchases before selecting the Betray Master option.
