Can you create more than one character in your account in Where Winds Meet

While most of the other RPGs allow you to create multiple characters, it is not the case for Where Winds Meet, at least not as of the time of writing this article. The global version, which was released on November 14, 2025, does not have this feature yet, but it is available in the CN servers.

If you are unhappy with how your Wandering Swordsmaster looks, you can opt to change your character's appearance. This will allow you to reset the looks of your protagonist and shape them more to your liking.

As of the time of writing this article, the only method of creating a new character is by deleting your older one.

How to delete characters in Where Winds Meet

Deleting your character is not an easy process, as there is no method to do so from your end. Instead, you must contact NetEase's official customer support at the following address:

One thing that you should keep in mind is that there is no guarantee when the process will be registered. The best method if you want to make another character is by creating a secondary account that you can use to play the game. You will also be able to test multiple builds in Where Winds Meet without regretting your deleted character later on.

When can you expect to be able to create multiple characters

If we are going by the Chinese update road map, it is highly likely that the ability to create multiple characters by the end of January or by early February of 2026. After the update goes live, you will be able to make a total of five different characters in the game.

But again, this is strictly speaking of the CN server roadmap, as the developers have not yet revealed how they will approach it when it comes to the Global build of the game.
