A new iteration of Stygian Onslaught is here in Genshin Impact Luna III, and it features some tanky and hard-hitting bosses such as the Iniquitous Baptist, the Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus, and the Experimental Field Generator. Since each of these bosses is weak to certain Elemental reactions and playstyles, there are a few fixed team compositions that work best to defeat these enemies in the shortest amount of time possible.
This article explores the best teams that you can use to clear Stygian Onslaught in Genshin Impact Luna III.

The Iniquitous Baptist deploys Electro, Pyro, and Hydro shields at intervals, which can be easily brought down by Dendro and Hydro units. These are the best teams that you can use to defeat this boss in Stygian Onslaught:
1) Nefer, Lauma, Kokomi, Nahida

A Lunar-Bloom featuring Nefer as the main DPS – backed by Lauma and Nahida as dedicated supports – can clear this battle the quickest. Use Nahida and Lauma to bring down the boss' Electro and Hydro shields, while deploying Kokomi's jellyfish to counter the Pyro shield. Once all three shields have been destroyed, the Iniquitous Baptist will enter a state of paralysis, which will be your window to attack the enemy with everything you have. Make sure to equip Kokomi with Sacrificial Fragments, allowing her to use her Elemental Skill twice in quick succession.

2) Lauma, Nilou, Nahida, Kokomi

Players who don't own Nefer can play a standard Lunar-Bloom team with Lauma, Nahida, Nilou and Kokomi. The rotations for this team will more or less be the same as that of Nefer's team, with extra support from Nilou for taking down the Iniquitous Baptist's Pyro shield. Note that Nahida is mandatory in this team composition, and cannot be replaced by any other Dendro/Hydro unit. Players who don't have Nilou can replace her with Xingqiu.
3) Neuvillette, Furina, Nahida, Kuki Shinobu

A Hyperbloom team with Neuvillette as the main DPS is also a good choice for taking on the Iniquitous Baptist. Neuvillette and Furina have excellent synergy, and Furina can significantly buff Neuvillette's overall damage, which will come in handy when attacking the boss in its paralyzed state. Nahida and Kuki Shinobu are good support options for this team, as they can constantly trigger Hyperbloom reactions, enabling quicker demolition of the boss' shields.
Battlefield 2: Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus

Pyro units and characters that have crowd-control abilities work well against the Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus. Since this boss starts out by leaping into the air and deploying a Cryo shield, you will need ranged Pyro units that can take down the boss' shield. Here are some teams you can use to clear this stage in Stygian Onslaught:
1) Venti, Durin, Faruzan, Bennett

Durin is one of the best characters to use for destroying the Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus' Cryo shield, as he has stellar off-field Pyro application. Use Venti's Elemental Burst in conjunction with Faruzan and Durin's Elemental Bursts to take down the shield swiftly and bring the boss down to the ground. Do note that if you are using this team, you will need to specifically use a DPS Venti build, which amplifies his Anemo DMG.

2) Mavuika, Xilonen, Citlali, Jean

You can also use Mavuika's best team to clear this boss fight, making sure to replace Bennett with Jean. When the Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus leaps up in the air at the start of the battle, you can use Jean's Elemental Skill to pull it towards the ground, allowing Mavuika to easily break the shield and continue with her usual combos with Xilonen and Citlali.
3) Jean, Bennett, Amber

This unique team without even a single DPS unit can also be used to defeat the Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus, taking advantage of Jean's ability to deal immense amounts of fall damage to enemies.
The strategy for this team is very simple – start out by waiting for the boss to fly up in the air, then use Bennett, Jean and Amber's Elemental Bursts in quick succession, which will swiftly destroy the boss' shield. As the boss plummets to the ground, hold (not tap) Jean's Elemental Skill to catch it before it falls, then quickly strike the boss against the ground about three to four times. Each strike will deal extraordinary amounts of fall damage to it, rendering it possible to finish the fight without even engaging the Battle-Hardened Iktomisaurus in battle.
Battlefield 3: Experimental Field Generator

The Experimental Field Generator provides a massive buff to characters' Plunge Attacks, making characters who mainly deal Plunge Attacks the best choice to clear this stage with. However, other characters can also take advantage of this buff, provided you time their jumps correctly. The following are some teams that you can use to defeat this boss in Stygian Onslaught:
1) Varesa, Iansan, Chevreuse, Mavuika

A team with Varesa as the main DPS is the best choice for clearing this stage in Stygian Onslaught. Not only is Varesa an exceptionally strong unit, but the ATK buff provided by the Experimental Field Generator can massively boost her overall DMG, allowing you to easily defeat this boss without having to perform any special rotations or follow any specific strategies. Mavuika can be replaced with Xiangling in this team composition, for players who don't have her.
2) Arlecchino, Zhongli, Yelan, Bennett

An Arlecchino Vaporize team can also defeat the Experimental Field Generator pretty easily. Make sure to perform plunge attacks at the correct moments, which will allow Arlecchino to take advantage of the 1.5s ATK buff. Since the attacks from this boss hit pretty hard, it is recommended to bring along a shielder such as Zhongli, who can mitigate any damage you accidentally take from these attacks. Players who wish to play a shielder-less team can replace Zhongli with Xilonen.

3) Skirk, Escoffier, Furina, Shenhe

Skirk is one of the strongest DPS units in game who can brute-force almost any boss in any endgame mode – and the same is true for this battle in Stygian Onslaught. You can execute Skirk's usual rotations while ensuring that she performs plunge attacks at the right time in order to activate the ATK buff the boss provides. Shenhe can be replaced by Yelan, in case you don't have her.
