Picking the best starter Class in Solo Leveling Arise: Overdrive is exceptionally important. While all of them are useful, choosing the best one solely depends on your playstyle. Currently, there are four Classes to choose from such as Assassin, Duelist, Elementalist, and Ruler. Each one of the Classes specializes in different playstyles.
If you pick Assassin, then you can experience a high-octane melee-based gameplay where you can deal more damage when sneaking up on enemies.
Compared to Assassin, Duelist is considerably slow. However, the amount of damage you can dish out is exceptional. Moreover, you can stagger enemies by parrying them and inflicting the Daze effect.
As the name suggests, Elementalist is a mage Class, which allows Sung Jinwoo to hit the enemies with various ranged elemental attacks. If you are not fond of staying near your enemy, this is the best Class as you can stick to a single spot away from the target and still deal heaps of AoE damage.
Lastly, the Ruler Class offers shadow abilities that Sung Jinwoo uses in the webtoon. Moreover, it features a mix of ranged and melee attacks, granting you the best experience of both worlds.
Don’t focus on multiple weapons at once

When you select a Class for Sung Jinwoo, you will be given two starter weapons that match its playstyle. If you choose Ruler, then you will get a Polearm and a Crossbow as starters. While you can change the weapons as you wish, it's better to stick to a couple and upgrade them as you desire to save materials when progressing.
As for normal Hunters, they only have access to one weapon. However, each one of them has one that grants them extra benefits when equipped. Hence, it's better to farm materials and craft the weapons for your favourite Hunters.

Use the right Artifacts when building your Hunters

Since Solo Leveling Arise: Overdrive allows you to build every Hunter you possess, using the right Artifact set is important. Otherwise, it will significantly hinder your gameplay. For starters, you should use gear sets that enhance the damage-type Hunter’s outgoing DPS. Similarly, you should be using defensive Artifacts for Tanks and more. While you don’t really need a good build during the early game, it will be essential later when you level up.
One QoL you have while playing Solo Leveling Arise: Overdrive is that you don’t have to level up every Hunter, as they will automatically be upgraded to your main character’s max level. However, you need to level up their Abilities and Growth for better skill utilization and effectiveness in combat.
Level up the useful stats and don’t skip the optional Gates

Every time you level up in Solo Leveling Arise: Overdrive, you will receive points, which you can use to upgrade Sung Jinwoo’s stats. While each one grants various effects when you level them up, you should enhance the ones that scale with your equipped weapons. Since weapons in this title can be more effective if a certain stat of your character is at a certain level, you should familiarize yourself with your weapons first.
Moreover, when you are progressing through the main story from the World Map, make sure to complete the optional Gates as well. They grant you some rewards, allowing you to upgrade your level and equipment. Since the recommended level of the main story increases at an unmatchable rate, completing these Gates is very important.
