The revamped map will feature frozen streets and various seasonal environmental visuals in Battlefield 6. The Ice Lock limited-time event revolves around the special Freeze mechanic, which makes the match more challenging by constantly reducing players' health. Alternatively, they can create fire by using the Incendiary Grenades and many other Gadgets to stay warm.All new LTMA limited-time themed mode has also been introduced, which players can access in any gameplay mode, including the Domination, Conquest, and Gauntlet missions based on the Ice Lock Empire State map. It also features the limited-time ‘Freeze’ mechanic. Players can unlock this melee through the Winter Offensive Bonus Path. This is an 11-tier reward track that offers limited-time items like event cosmetics and XP Boosters.
