Assassin's Creed Shadows walkthrough: How to complete A Puzzlement quest

Following the release of Title Update 1.1.6, Assassin's Creed Shadows now has a new quest called A Puzzlement. Your main objective here is to investigate some strange Glyphs around a mysterious door in Wakasa. Naoe and Yasuke must decipher the clues and help Kinu and Kane solve the puzzle.

After downloading Title Update 1.1.6, the A Puzzlement quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows will be available to access only if you have Yasuke unlocked as a playable character.

To start, travel to the south of the Wakasa region and reach the quest marker on the map. It's located to the north of Hanazono Castle.

There, talk to Kinu and Kane to learn about the mysterious door and the unknown Glyphs. At the end of the conversation, choose any of the prompts to start the quest.

If you're unable to track the A Puzzlement quest, go to the objective board and select it from the People of Wakasa segment.

Investigate the strange Glyphs

Equip Riddle Scroll Beacon Trinket (Image via Ubisoft)

Immediately after starting the quest, you will receive the Riddle Scroll Beacon, which will help you track the hidden Glyphs. Navigate to your character's Trinket section in the inventory and equip this newly acquired item.

Next, navigate towards the east to the objective marker. You will notice that the Trinket blinks faster as you get closer to the required location. By properly noticing the blinking pace, find the Glyph of the Vault near the lake. Its exact location is shown on the image above.

Return to Kinu and Kane

After finding the Glyph of the Vault, go back to Kinu and Kane in the earlier location. Talk to them and agree to help with the mystery behind the puzzle door.

With this, the A Puzzlement quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows comes to an end. This marks the beginning of the Teach a Dog New Kicks quest in the story.
