How to complete In the Vulture's Nest quest in Assassin's Creed Mirage
Reach the fort

Follow the quest marker to the fort, and once within its vicinity, you should get the prompt to call in Enkidu, Basim's trusty bird companion, to locate clues to proceed with the quest. The marker will shrink the closer you are to the right location, so tracking it down should be easy.
As shown in the image above, the mark will be atop a rocky outcrop next to the fort. Interact with the mark to use the whistle. This will see a guard on the ramparts of the fort push down a ladder to allow you to climb up and get into the fort unseen. The next prompt that appears onscreen shows the objective: assassinate Nimlot.
Get into the fort

There are a few ways to do this upon getting on the ramparts; however, the first order of things is to clear the vicinity of any guards and then scout the area with Enkidu to mark foes. Additionally, you will also be able to look out for opportunities to allow you to get closer to the target, like moving through a secret passageway, using a weak point in the rocks, or tricking a merchant.
Additionally, a group of robbers nearby will be engaged in conversation, so it is recommended to eavesdrop on them before deciding which path to take. Drop onto the stack of hay nearby and eavesdrop to learn about the weak point in the rocks. Next, you can progress with one of the three objectives: The easiest method is the merchant by far.

Located in the area next to the gossiping robbers is a merchant, also marked by a magnifying glass icon. Approach while taking care not to be detected by guards and talk to him. Turns out that he is willing to allow Basim a safe passage further into the fort in exchange for 12 tokens.
Handing them over will see him make Basim carry a crate in order to appear inconspicuous as the protagonist follows him to the gate guarded by robbers. Pretending to be the merchant's helper, you will be granted entry inside through the heavy wooden gate without having to sneak around the heavily guarded area.
Find the restricted area and the Astrologer
Put down the crate where prompted and, while ensuring you're well hidden, call on Enkidu to scout this new area for threats and mark them. Also, be sure to find the Restricted Area by completing the marker scan. There are a lot more guards here, so exercise caution when trying to mantle onto vantage points.
Also, take note of a makeshift tent-like area to the right of the area where the crate was put, which hides a table from view. Read the letter here to learn about the Astrologer Invitation. Take to the skies again and scan the surroundings to find the Astrologer.

The goal is to knock him out and steal his clothes so Basim can disguise himself as the Astrologer to gain easy access to Nimlot. Unfortunately, he will be accompanied by a guard as he roams around the area, so you must try to isolate him from the guard before taking him out.
Knock out the Astrologer and carry him to an unseen area. A hiding spot like a stall works the best, and enter it yourself to change Basim's attire. This will allow you to walk around the area freely so you can enter the Restricted Area unbothered.
Explore the Restricted Area and find the key
Head to the Restricted Area and convince the guard to let you in. Inside, there will be more guards, but also civilian prisoners captured by the robbers. Follow the marker to find a guard tormenting an old man and assassinate the former. Interrogate the old man to learn about Nimlot's whereabouts.
Turns out he has locked himself inside a tower, so Basim must find a key that is under the Captain's possession. Once again, use Enkidu to mark all foes in the vicinity and also to discover the location of the keyholder. Climb up the wall next to the prisoner and reach the fort's ramparts.

This is easier than moving through the heavily guarded interiors, so be sure to take out the guards patrolling here one by one and slowly make your way around the tower to the room the Captain is in. Unfortunately, the only way to get inside is through an adjacent room where 4-5 guards are standing around. Using throwing knives is the quickest way to take them out in succession.
The Captain is not alone in his quarters either, as one guard sits crouched to the right of the doorway. Assassinate him while the Captain is turned around, and then quickly move on to the keybearer, too. Now, it is time to give Nimlot a visit.
Reach the tower and face Nimlot

Head up the stairway and unlock the tower door. This will initiate a cutscene where Nimlot reveals he was expecting Basim's arrival. Towards the end of the cutscene, you will get the prompt to assassinate Nimlot. Save Is'haq, and another cutscene where he is conversing with Basim will play.
Follow Is'haq

In another follow-up scene, Basim walks out of the valley alongside Is'haq. Follow him and hear what he has to say. This concludes the In the Vulture's Nest main mission and also wraps up the Valley of Memories DLC questline for Assassin's Creed Mirage.
