ARC Raiders glitches became very common as the community witnessed players bruteforcing their way inside locked rooms in search of loot. Due to a technical issue between the layer of a door and its surrounding wall, players could clip through inside sealed rooms. This caused several problems for the regular players who were unable to utilize their keycards fairly.

Therefore, in a recent post, Embark Studios officially addressed that they are fixing this problem by introducing a small change that will make it impossible for glitch abusers to stay alive, let alone loot the keycard room.

If a player tries to clip inside a locked room without using a key, specialized vents inside the room will activate and release fire jets. This downs and kills the Raider who makes their way inside, punishing them for unfair play.

Embark Studios' extraction shooter has always been proud of its PvPvE format. The game ensures players have a fair chance at obtaining loot by ensuring each locked room requires its unique one-time-use key. Ever since the glitch was discovered, players without keys were able to access the epic-rarity loot unfairly.
