You will earn achievements as you progress in the game's story. Take a look at the eight missable achievements categorized by chapter.

Chapter 2: Rich Taste

In this chapter, you will come across a homeless man asking for a drink. The solution will be given by Kiryu himself in an inner monologue: head to Don Quiche to grab some Champagne. Buy the pricey Gold Champagne for a whopping 20,000 Yen at this vendor and return to the homeless man to hand it over to get the Rich Taste achievement.

Chapter 3: Smooth Criminal

To obtain this achievement, you must set out on a hunt for different NPCs. First, this chapter will see you track down three NPCs, whose locations are as follows:

Bishamon Bridge: Green Jacket Man standing in the middle
Bunzaemon Outdoor Mall: Green Coat Woman at the corner
Shofukucho South: Businessmen standing near a red store board

Then head to the Odyssey club, after which the objective updates to searching the tables. Look at the tables around the room with people sitting at them, after which Majima will contemplate them. That is all there is to it, and the Smooth Criminal achievement will be awarded upon returning in Chapter 4 to the Grand.

Chapter 5: Business Etiquette 101

You will meet up with Oda in this chapter, and we recommend saving before visiting him in case anything goes wrong. Simply put, you must pick three correct options and then complete a QTE successfully. The right choices are:

When talking to Yamanoi, a QTE will appear. Tap the highlighted button before the timer is up to pass it. Do all of this in order to earn the Business Etiquette 101 achievement.

Chapter 7: Best Served Cold?

In this chapter, Majima will be tasked with getting some Piping Hot Takoyaki for Makoto. This item can be purchased from Magutako in Sotenbori. The goal here is not to delay the delivery; hang around for 15 minutes so that it becomes a cold takoyaki, and then give it to Makoto to obtain the Best Served Cold? achievement.

Chapter 10: It Takes Two

Kiryu will eventually find himself battling through the Tojo HQ alongside Tachibana and Oda. The goal is to complete 3 co-op moves total with either of them. This can be done by performing a Heat Action on an enemy when Oda or Tachibana grabs them. This will net you the It Takes Two achievement.

Chapter 12: They Won't Mind

When fighting through the Benten Inn on the second floor, you will encounter a powerful masked thug with dual fans. Defeating him will cause him to fall through a set of swinging doors, which opens up an area for Majima to explore. There are two white safes sitting beside a bunch of green chairs next to the stairway. Break them open by hitting them to get the They Won't Mind achievement.

Chapter 13: Big Hair in the Crosshairs

This chapter features an on-rails chase sequence on the highway in a car where Kiryu must use a pistol to take down incoming foes. There will be one enemy with an afro in a taxi. He moves quickly, so use the Heat Eye slow-mo mechanicto slow down time for improved aim. In case you fail to kill him, let the enemies kill Kiryu to restart the sequence. Complete this objective to get the Big Hair in the Crosshairs achievement.

Chapter 15: Hitting the Bottle

The final missable achievement in Yakuza 0 Director's Cut will be when Majima is fighting Nishikiyama in Serena. When the foe grabs you, this triggers a QTE scene where the bartender Reina will hit Majima with a bottle at full force. Fail this QTE and get hit to obtain the Hitting the Bottle achievement. Note that this will cause Majima to take some decent damage, so ensure you have enough health to tank the hit.
