All Wuthering Waves 3.0 characters revealed

Kuro Games has officially announced that two new characters will be released in the upcoming Wuthering Waves 3.0 update. One of them is Lynae, a student at the Startorch Academy, and the other is Mornye, a professor at the same academy. They have yet to make an in-game appearance, so not much is known about them besides what has been shared in their drip marketing posts.

The developers have also revealed Lynae and Mornye's attributes and weapon types in Wuthering Waves. In this article, Rovers can find all the details about the new Resonators, along with their potential release dates.

As version 2.8 will be one week shorter than usual, the Wuthering Waves 3.0 update will be released on December 25, 2025. The developers have confirmed that this version will release Lynae and Mornye as the new playable Resonators.

Lynae is a 5-star Spectro character who uses Pistols during combat. She is a Preparatory Program student at Startorch Academy, and is a free-spirited person.

Meanwhile, Mornye is a 5-star Fusion Resonator that uses a Broadblade in combat. She is a Spacetrek Collective researcher and a professor at Startorch Academy. She's very smart but not very talkative.

Lynae and Mornye are likely to play significant roles in the upcoming main story quest since they are the first characters to be introduced in Lahai-Roi. Moreover, both are from the Startorch Academy, and Chisa will accompany the Rover to the academy for her own reasons, so it will be a major point of interest in the story.

Since Lynae was revealed first, she will be released in the first half of version 2.8. Meanwhile, Mornye will be available in the second half of the update. As already mentioned, the new version will go live on December 25, 2025. Here are the expected release dates for the new Lahai-Roi Resonators in WuWa:

• Phase I (Lynae) - December 25, 2025
• Phase II (Mornye) - ~January 15, 2026

Naturally, Rovers can also look forward to two new 5-star signature weapons. These banners will be available for three weeks each, assuming the developers don't change the update cycle again.
