All Verdant Wilds Meow Meow puzzle in Where Winds Meet (Qinghe)

In the Verdant Wilds region of Where Winds Meet, you’ll find six Meow Meow puzzles, located in different areas. Like many other puzzles in the game, these aren’t directly linked to the main quest but are meant to help you progress. The Meow Meow puzzles involve a magical cat who rewards you after you complete its challenges. The challenges themselves are some of the easiest in the entire game, but finding their locations can be quite challenging.

Meow Meow puzzle 1 (Will-o’-the-Wisps)

This puzzle is located in the east of the Verdant Wilds. As you reach the area, climb the mountain to see a sword and a cat. Just interact with the sword to start the puzzle.

Solution

To complete this challenge, you need to collect 11 Will-o’-the-Wisps within 30 seconds. It’s a simple task where you just have to jump around a little to grab all of them. Once you’re done, you’ll receive your rewards.

Meow Meow puzzle 2 (Will-o’-the-Wisps)

This one is located north of the previous puzzle, opposite the waterfalls. For better understanding, check the image of the map location. When you arrive, you’ll find the same Sword Hilt to interact with and start the puzzle.

Solution

Similar to the previous one, you will also need to collect Will-o’-the-Wisps. Instead of 11, you need to collect 6 within 33 seconds. You’ll find several wooden circular platforms stacked at different heights. To complete the puzzle, you need to jump onto them and collect all the Will-o’-the-Wisps, with the final one located at the top.

Meow Meow puzzle 3 (Unstopabble Bamboo Cut)

The third puzzle is located to the east of the second Meow Meow puzzle, as showcased in the image below. There you’ll find a similar sword inside the forest, along with a cat. As usual, interact with the sword to start the puzzle.

Solution

To complete it, you need to chop down 15 bamboo stalks within 20 seconds. Fortunately, the forest has plenty of bamboo, so you won’t need to go far. A single strike can cut multiple stalks at once, making it easy to finish the challenge in just a few seconds.

Meow Meow puzzle 4 (Will-o’-the-Wisps)

Head north of the previous puzzle, near the river shown in the image. Climb a few rocks and you’ll find the sword there.

Solution

To complete the challenge, you need to collect 7 Will-o’-the-Wisps within 35 seconds. A few are on the ground, but for the rest, you’ll need to climb the mountain, jump a bit, and grab them along the way.

Meow Meow puzzle 5

The fifth Meow Meow puzzle is located near the General Shrine region of Verdant Wilds, as shown in the image. As you reach there, you’ll find the Cat waiting for you to solve the puzzle.

Solution

As you reach the area, you’ll see two statues placed on the ground, with an empty spot next to them. Directly opposite those, there’s another similar statue. To complete the challenge, you need to pick up the third statue near the Buddha and place it beside the other two. Luckily, there will be no timer for this one.

Meow Meow puzzle 6

Finally, the last puzzle is located southeast of the Meow Mewo puzzle 5. It’s easy to identify the location, as you’ll see two statues and a large pillar in the area.

Solution
