All upcoming map changes in Arc Raiders

Arc Raiders patch 1.1.0 was recently released and brought along a small list of changes. These include big fixes, some quality-of-life changes, and a tweak to the Map Conditions to introduce fresh in-game map events in the coming weekend. This is an exciting update for the entire community, as players will be able to adventure to the Topside to experience and participate in new gameplay content during their raids.

What are the map changes in Arc Raiders?

In the latest patch notes for the 1.1.0 update, the devs have provided information about a change in the Map Conditions. This would affect some of the variants of the map and introduce unique events for fans to experience when starting a raid for specific maps.

All of the new map conditions are scheduled to go live on October 8, 2025. However, this date may change depending on the final decision of the developers.

That said, here is a list of the map changes in Arc Raiders:

Hidden Bunker
Night Raid will now also be available as a variant for the Blue Gate map
Electromagnetic Storm

Previously, the Night Raid variants were only available for three out of the four active maps. After the update, players will be able to encounter the same for the Blue Gate map and experience a new adventure in the darkness. Hidden Bunker will likely be a map event that you can choose to take part in alongside other Raiders on the same map. However, the Electromagnetic Storm will likely be a feature that affects parts of or the whole map, similar to the Night Raid mode.

It is important to note that all these Map Conditions make the game more difficult. Fortunately, this is balanced with higher-tier loot on the surface. However, the map variants may not be active for all the playable areas at the same time. For this, you would need to check out the information showcased on the matchmaking screen when selecting a map to raid. Whenever an event or map condition is active, you can spot it being displayed on the map selection screen.

Since the unique events can make the maps more difficult for players, it is best to form a pre-made squad before raiding. This can help you secure valuable loot and return to Speranza safely. You should also carry along powerful weapons to such situations, and if required, upgrade your gear to the highest level before participating in any available events.
