Cars are one of the most integral aspects of any rally sim, so it comes as no surprise that the developers are working towards providing an immersive experience. The early access launches with ten cars, and the developers have stated that they plan on expanding that to 30 with the 1.0 update.
The 1.0 update in Assetto Corsa Rally will introduce more historic and modern rally icons, aided by the partnership with Fondazione Giono Macaluso. Each of these cars will feature distinct handling for FWD, RWD, and AWD. This will ensure that each vehicle feels unique rather than just a reskin.
Apart from new cars, the 1.0 update will also add rally stages in new locations to the game, offering players more variety and challenges. They plan to add over 120 km of laser-scanned real-life roads and 10 Special Stages with 35 layouts set across 5 international rallies as part of the future expansion. It will also include new roads and content over time.
Apart from the new tracks and variants, the future update will also add expanded game modes that offer gamers more things to do.

While the early access build will run on VR, full support will be implemented post-launch of the Early Access. Additionally, the developers have also stated that they plan on introducing a dedicated rally school in the game, making it easier for beginners to get used to the nuances of rallying.
According to the developers, players can expect the 1.0 update to be released within 18 months of the early access release on November 13, 2025. With just a year and a half left, rally enthusiasts will have their hands full as they set Time Attack records or take on full rally weekends ahead of the major update.
