Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive lets you play not just as Sung Jinwoo, but also as other popular Hunters featured in the anime and manhwa. Each of them belongs to a different element, has a distinct role, and a weapon. While a few of these characters join automatically upon completing early chapters, the rest must be negotiated and hired from the Hunter Association hub.

As of now, there are two ways to get Hunters in the game. While some can be obtained simply by progressing through the main storyline, the others must be recruited by negotiating and paying Hunt Coins at the Hunter Association terminal. Simply go to the lower floor and interact with Lim Hajin, and she will bring up contracts for three characters for you to hire. However, you should note that this feature only unlocks once you finish Chapter 3: Gatekeeper.

In case none of the three featured Hunters are up to your choice, you can wait for 20 minutes for the available contracts to refresh and pick from fresh options.
