All Honkai Star Rail 3.8 QoL optimizations and changes

Like every patch, Honkai Star Rail 3.8 is set to introduce several Quality-of-Life features. These help Trailblazers have a smooth experience while playing this turn-based gacha title. As the update’s release is nearing, players might wonder what these QoL optimizations are, so they can use them upon debut.

Several QoL optimizations and changes will make their way into the title when Honkai Star Rail 3.8 debuts. These are:

Special story recap “Oneiric Memoir”
Quick character Path switch
Locking multi-Path characters in Team presets

Express Supply Pass expiration notice
New confirmation pop-up window when closing the game on PC

The Honkai Star Rail 3.8 story mission will uncover a side of Penacony that players haven't seen. Hence, the developers have added the special story recap “Oneiric Memoir” feature to allow Trailblazers to have a better experience. Before starting the mission, players can access this feature after their “Mission” tab.

When Honkai Star Rail 3.8 commences, the Quick character Path switch feature will be implemented into the title. As some characters walk on multiple Paths (Trailblazer/MC), this QoL will allow players to easily change them. When building a lineup, you can just select Harmony MC or Remembrance MC from the lineup screen.

The Locking multi-Path characters in Team presets will help players start an activity faster. When building a team with a character walking multiple Paths (MC), players can lock a certain Path that is needed for that composition. This feature won't affect the normal character; hence, Trailblazers don't have to change it manually after completing the activity.

With the help of the Check out gameplay types and rewards feature, players will know what type of event they are going to complete. To do so, all they have to do is open their “Travel Log” and select an HSR 3.8 event. The selected event will feature a gameplay tag showcasing its type (Combat, Casual, or Story).

The new Express Supply Pass expiration notice feature in Honkai Star Rail 3.8 will let players know when their monthly subscription will end. Right before or after the Supply Pass expires, Trailblazers will receive a mail.

The New confirmation pop-up window when closing the game on PC feature will be added in HSR 3.8. Those playing this turn-based gacha title on PC with a non-fullscreen setting will receive a pop-up window when they accidentally close the game by clicking the close button on the top-right corner or willingly.
