EA Sports has released the EA FC 26 Thunderstruck promo in Ultimate Team as part of the Black Friday festivities, with massive names like Diego Maradona, Eusebio, Jude Bellingham and Rodri leading the line. This is the first promo in the current game cycle to include boosted versions of Icons, and these players can receive further upgrades via PlayStyles and Roles as well.

This is a returning event from previous years and was first introduced during Black Friday celebrations in FC 24. These items have always been dynamic and eligible for further upgrades. While they will not receive any boosts to their overall ratings or stats this year, the EA FC 26 Thunderstruck players are still live items that can gain additional Roles and PlayStyles based on the results of their teams in domestic competitions.

The EA FC 26 Thunderstruck players are now available in Ultimate Team

Previous promos like Ultimate Scream and UEFA Primetime have already introduced boosted versions of Heroes, with the likes of Eden Hazard and Paulo Futre receiving upgraded special items. However, the EA FC 26 Thunderstruck roster has taken it a step further by featuring special versions of popular Icons like Diego Maradona, Eusebio and Paolo Maldini.

The base versions of these Icons were already elite-tier in the current meta, which makes this promo lineup even more exciting. The current-gen stars featured in this squad are exceptional as well, with Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham and Manchester City's Rodri being accompanied by Alexia Putellas and Raphinha from FC Barcelona.
