The Wuthering Waves 2.8 update launched on November 20, 2025, bringing in exciting story quests and a brand-new map. The fresh content has also ushered in several unique achievements. Some of them require you to complete special interactions or search for specific characters in the open world.

The associated trophies are easy to overlook due to their hidden description. To help you, this article lists some of the achievements you may have missed in Wuthering Waves 2.8.

1) The Flower We Saw That Day

• Objective: Find all the children playing hide-and-seek around the pedway.

According to the description, you have to find the kids playing hide-and-seek in a certain area of Chronorift Metropolis in Wuthering Waves. You are specifically looking for three children hiding around Sazanami Avenue, located west of the Shashou Cafe.

Upon reaching the specified location, look for the bridge. Climb on it and find two kids hiding inside a bush on either end of the overpass. The final child is near the water body on the far west side of the map. Look for the arrow signs to find Yuta.

2) When Supernatural Confessions Became Commonplace

• Objective: Help Shingo confess his feelings to Kumi.

The When Supernatural Confessions Became Commonplace achievement in Wuthering Waves 2.8 requires you to become a matchmaker. To complete the interaction, you must first find the two psychic NPCs named Shingo and Kumi. They are sitting at a bench at the Shiawase Fountain Square with their backs facing each other.

The area is located north of the Shashou Cafe in Chronorift Metropolis. Just head to the location and talk to the NPCs to obtain the trophy.

3) Ninja Capybaras! Rodent Power!

• Objective: Find the strange manhole cover painted with Namipon's image.

Finding the strange manhole alone can be tricky unless you are intrigued about every single thing in the open world. The Namipon-styled cover is located in an underground area of Meishin Passageway. As of writing, you can access the location via the Stranger Things in Honami event in Wuthering Waves.

4) Camera Obscura

• Objective: Take photos on the cafe terrace for the Left Behind girl.

Not every supernatural NPC in Chronorift Metropolis wants to confess. Some exist to observe the beautiful view of the overgrown city. The girl on the terrace of Shashou Cafe is one of them. Use the escalator outside the cafe to reach the second floor and interact with Aoi, who will wave once you get closer.

Upon interacting, she will ask you to take her photo. Click on the camera icon at the bottom of the screen and take her snapshot. Hand over the picture to receive the achievement.

5) Black Cat Sensei

• Objective: Talk to the mysterious black cat at Honami Crossing

Kuro Games always amazes players with their unique overworld interactions. Be it Bell Crab puzzles or talking cats, you will come across something peculiar in every patch. The latter came true in the version 2.8 update, and you can interact with the feline to claim the specified achievement.

The Mysterious Black Cat is stationed a few steps west of the Chronorift Metropolis Resonance Nexus. Talk to the entity to secure the Black Cat Sensei hidden achievement in Wuthering Waves 2.8.

6) The End of the Passageway to Summer

• Objective: Read the message scribbled on the umbrella in the Meishin Passageway.

You can unlock another hidden achievement in the Meishin Passageway during your third excursion via the Stranger Things in Honami event. The trophy requires you to interact with a strange umbrella located deeper within the underground tunnel. The area is unlocked once you activate the Nampion Lightbox.

7) The Star You Once Sought

• Objective: Read the Pioneer Association's letter to Eri.

To unlock this achievement, you must complete the Whisper of the Waves event in Wuthering Waves and skip two in-game days. Head to the Shashou Cafe and read the Pioneer Association's letter to Eri from the outside table.
