Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer has responded to ex-England captain Michael Vaughan's jibe, as Rishabh Pant and company continue to struggle in the ongoing home Test series against South Africa. With left-arm seamer Marco Jansen wreaking havoc on Day 3 of the second Test in Guwahati, Vaughan mocked Jaffer about the same. The retired Indian batter shared a reference from the Bollywood movie 'Hera Pheri,' as England are also 0-1 down in the ongoing Ashes series.Team India began Day 3 at 9/0 after the Proteas grinded them to dust by piling on 489 in their first innings, headlined by Senuran Muthusamy's 109. Although Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a brisk half-century (58), the hosts collapsed from 95/2 to 122/7 at one stage. Eventually, they were bowled out for 201, conceding a 288-run lead. The tourists will resume Day 4 with a 314-run lead. I would say I am the happiest to bat wherever the team wants me to bat. That way, it is a lot more exciting. This is a team game. Honestly, I really want to be the cricketer who steps up whenever the team requires and wherever the team wants me to bat and bowl.
