Responding to India's score of 349-8, South Africa got off to a horror start, losing their first three wickets with just 11 runs on the board. Breetzke, however, featured in some handy partnerships with Tony de Zorzi (39), Dewald Brevis (37) and Marco Jansen (70 off 39) to keep South Africa's hopes alive. The 27-year-old eventually fell to Kuldeep Yadav as the Proteas were bowled out for 332 in 49.2 overs.

Breetzke has so far featured in 10 ODIs. In the wake of his impressive knock against India in Ranchi, we compare his stats with those of Virat Kohli after the latter had also played 10 one-dayers.
