The IPL 2026 auction is soon approaching ahead of a new season. It is set to be held in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, December 16. While the ten franchises made their retentions and releases, they will look to fill in certain gaps, strengthen their balance and fine-tune their final squads.

The focus would likely remain on big overseas and Indian players during the IPL 2026 auction. However, the teams will have their eyes on local and domestic talent as well.

Over the past few seasons, several uncapped Indian players have gotten opportunities from various franchises. They have shown glimpses of their potential. These performers in domestic cricket would have an equally important role to play in teams finding the right balance, particularly with all-rounders in the mix.

Multiple names have done well in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2025-26 with both bat and ball.

That said, here are the top five uncapped Indian all-rounders to watch out for during the IPL 2026 auction.


#5 Rajvardhan Hangargekar

India's U-19 World Cup winner in 2022, fast-bowling all-rounder Rajvardhan Hangargekar, is already familiar with the IPL setting. He has been a part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the past. However, he has played just two matches in the league so far.

The right-arm pacer is the leading wicket-taker for Maharashtra in the ongoing SMAT 2025-26. He has bagged 11 scalps from seven games at an average of 17.90 and an economy of 7.38.

While he had not made a significant impact with the bat, he is known for his ability to tonk the ball down the order.


#4 Prashant Veer

Left-arm spin bowling all-rounder Prashant Veer caught the attention when he recently attended the trials for CSK ahead of IPL 2026. The left-handed batter and spinner could be the new-age Ravindra Jadeja for the five-time champions.

The 20-year-old has scored 112 runs from six innings in the ongoing SMAT 2025-26 for Uttar Pradesh. The runs have come at a strike rate of 169.69. He has also picked up nine wickets at an average of 18.77 and an economy of 6.76.

Moreover, he displayed brilliant form in the UP T20 League 2025 as well. He scored 320 runs from 10 matches at a strike rate of 155.34.


#3 Manisankar Murasingh

Tripura all-rounder Manisankar Murasingh has been in top form in the SMAT 2025-26. The left-handed batter has scored 277 runs from seven games so far at an average of 46.16 and a strike rate of 172.04 with two half-centuries.

Murasingh is a right-arm medium pacer. He has also bagged six wickets at an economy of 7.60. Being a fast-bowling Indian all-rounder, multiple franchises could look to rope him in at the IPL 2026 auction.

Overall, he has played 80 T20s and has scored 1296 runs at a strike rate of 142.73 with six fifties. He also has 65 wickets at an average of 31.21 and an economy of 7.43.


#2 Sairaj Patil

Another fast-bowling all-rounder from Mumbai, Sairaj Patil, has impressed in the SMAT 2025-26. The right-arm medium pacer is the second-highest wicket-taker for Mumbai so far in the premier domestic T20 tournament. He has 11 wickets from seven innings at an average of 15.90 and an economy of 8.33.

Sairaj has batted in just three innings and has made 50 runs at a strike rate of 185.18. He has a decent ability to score at a quick pace with the bat, making 102 runs in seven T20 innings at a strike rate of 141.66.

Along with Murasingh, Sairaj could be another Indian uncapped all-rounder that franchises could look to add to their roster during the IPL 2026 auction.


#1 Aman Khan

Aman Khan is another fast-bowling all-rounder on this list. Playing for Puducherry in the SMAT 2025-26, he has scored 236 runs from seven matches at an average of 33.71 and a strike rate of 160.54 with two half-centuries.

He has also bagged six wickets at an average of 22.50 and an economy of 9.75. In 32 T20s so far, he has 499 runs at a strike rate of 146.76 with 10 wickets.

Notably, Aman Khan has been a part of the IPL previously as well. He represented KKR in 2022 and the Delhi Capitals (DC) in 2023, having played 12 games across two seasons.
