Seasoned South African batter Quinton de Kock smashed a terrific hundred against Pakistan at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad in the second ODI of the three-match series on Thursday, November 6. Courtesy of his brilliant knock, the Proteas thumped Pakistan by eight wickets to level the series 1-1. Pakistan had won the opening match of the series by two wickets.

Pakistan won the toss and batted first in the second ODI, but were restricted to 269-9 as Nandre Burger claimed 4-46. In the chase, South Africa cruised home in 40.1 overs as De Kock hammered 123* off 119 balls, while Tony de Zorzi hit 76 off 63. The duo added 153 for the second wicket.
