Star India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed a brilliant six off South Africa pacer Lungi Ngidi in the ongoing third ODI. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma walked out to begin the run-chase for India. On the first ball of the sixth overall, Jaiswal cut loose and slammed a solid six.Ngidi bowled a pitched up delivery outside the off-stump from around the wicket. Jaiswal shuffled across slightly, getting into a solid position, and sent the ball straight down the ground for a cracking six. It was a 77m maximum that came right off the middle of the bat. He could not get going in the second game either, scoring 22 runs off 38 balls.Moreover, Yashasvi Jaiswal has been slow even in the ongoing third ODI, having scored 27 runs off 52 balls until the 15th over. However, with the target not being under 300, he can afford to take his time and middle and play a big innings.In his three matches in the format before the ongoing game, he has scored just 55 runs at an average of 18.33. The 23-year-old will be keen to end the series on a positive note.
